With a Masters in Economics, Karl has over a decade of experience working in business engagement and economic development roles involving building successful partnerships across public, private and academic sectors. This includes in strategic engagement, regional economic development and advanced manufacturing policy. In his current role Karl leads work to develop the clean heat market by fostering collaborations to develop heat financing solutions, build skills and supply chain capacity, coordinate public engagement plans and explore options for longer term advice service provision. Outside of work Karl is a keen cyclist who enjoys reading, playing hockey and is kept busy by his two young sons.
