David is a Director and owner of Carbon Futures, which is an independent energy and sustainability consultancy established in 2015 that has a passion for building performance and decarbonisation, and operates throughout the UK tackling the Climate Emergency. David is a qualified Architect, On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) and Certified Passivhaus Consultant with over 20 years experience in the construction sector, working on both new-build and retrofit projects with a particular focus on social and affordable housing. He has provided energy consultancy on over 10,000 domestic dwellings, including multiple projects designed to achieve Passivhaus Certification, whilst also provided thermal bridging consultancy on hundreds of projects.
