Annie joined Sacro at the end of March 2020. As Chief Executive she is also Company Secretary and works closely with the Sacro Board and the Directors to provide strategic leadership to the organisation.
An experienced leader in the public and not for profit sectors, Annie has worked across the UK in different roles including senior management in local authorities, leading a UK government agency, and as chief executive of a UK wide membership body.
Annie was previously Executive Director with the Chartered Institute of Housing working closely with a wide range of stakeholders in the public and third sectors and as an advocate to Scottish Government and decision makers.
She has also run her own consultancy company supporting different organisations in the charity sector and has worked as an interim chief executive with third sector organisations including a charity for asylum seekers and refugees and a third sector interface organisation.
