Donna has been Chief Executive at the Scottish Crofting Federation since September 2023 having previously also been Deputy CEO at the Crofting Commission and having worked at Scottish Government Rural Payments & Inspections Division. With the SCF being the only membership organisation dedicated to supporting and campaigning for crofters and crofting, Donna’s role covers a wide remit of policy topics due to the diverse nature of crofting and its unique position in terms of crofters not only cultivating and managing the land they occupy, much of which is high nature value, but also their role in helping maintain remote rural communities.
