Dr Clarisse de Vries

I am a research fellow at the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data science, dedicated to ensuring artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare will benefit all. AI is a potential solution to the NHS work force crisis, which has led to delays in the diagnosis and treatment of disease including cancer. My work is focused on the development and testing of AI for breast screening so that it can be used safely in hospitals. I work closely with industry and the NHS, with my work having received significant news coverage in local, national, and international media, including the BBC.
