Dr Ethan Bayne possesses a PhD in Digital Forensics and an MSc in Ethical Hacking and Computer Security, both earned at Abertay University. His current role as a Infrastructure and Security Manager at Audit Scotland, along with his previous position as a Programme Leader and Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Computer Science at Abertay University, reflects his dedication to cybersecurity in practical and educational contexts in the past decade.
During his academic career, Dr Bayne contributed research in the areas of Digital Forensics, Network Security, contributing to the advancement of cybersecurity practices. He is the network and cybersecurity lead in his current role within Audit Scotland, helping evolve the organisation’s cybersecurity readiness in all domains.
