Gina has worked for global conservation organisation WWF for over eight years and has been Head of Policy and Advocacy for the tartan pandas at WWF Scotland since 2017. She has shaped their influential advocacy on climate change, renewable energy, and greening agriculture, notably spearheading their campaign on Scotland’s Climate Change Act, which secured some of the earliest and most challenging legal climate targets in the world.
In 2018, Gina co-founded the Climate Emergency Response Group (CERG) with EST and Changeworks – a civic thought leadership group focussed on developing workable and urgent solutions to the climate crisis in Scotland, which has influenced the Scottish Government’s response. Gina has previously been a board member of Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, and of the steering group of the Existing Homes Alliance.
