Heather Connolly is a Health Psychologist and Policy lead for the Division of Health Psychology, British Psychological Society. Heather has worked in the NHS for over 15 years specialising in working across the lifespan in health, community and social care settings supporting people, professionals and systems make and sustain behaviour change for better health and wellbeing.
She is a representative on the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) council and lectures across various Scottish Universities on topics including communication, behaviour change, health improvement and long term conditions.
Heather is currently the Principal Educator for Health Improvement within NHS Education for Scotland and leads on the delivery of the national behaviour change programme as well as other national educational resources to support the health and wellbeing of the population.
