Sahir Permall

Sahir leads the Place2Be team to improve the mental wellbeing and prospects of children, their families and school communities across Scotland. She comes from an education and training background, starting her career as a Maths teacher in Sunderland. A qualified coach, she has worked in teacher training and leadership development before moving into leadership roles within education, charities and policing. Outside of work, Sahir loves to tackle long distance walking and cycling routes, most recently completing the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain.
