Jonathan is the Head of Strategic Engagement in the Scotland Office. He has worked in the Scotland Office. He has worked in various roles from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, DCMS, and Department for Exiting the European Union.
He joined the Foreign Office in 1999. He was posted as Deputy Consul General in Chicago, USA, and spent 5 years on a break from the FCO working for the State Government of Victoria, Australia. Prior to the FCO he worked in the telecoms industry. Jonathan has an MBA and a degree in law. He comes from Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
