Lauren Riach, a chartered town planner, is Consents and Environment Strategy Manager for SSEN Transmission. She has worked for SSEN Transmission for over 5 years and is involved in setting the consenting and environmental strategy for national significant electricity transmission infrastructure in the north of Scotland. She oversees a team of subject matter experts that gain development consents for large capital projects whilst also ensuring that the business meets its ambitious biodiversity commitments.
