Laurie Brown is the Digital Information Security Officer within the Digital Directorate of Scottish Government, providing strategic cyber security direction, assurance and governance across a sizeable portfolio of Scottish Government digital public services including the work of ScotAccount.
He is a highly motivated and visible leader with an exceptional pedigree in cyber security for both Cloud native and on-premise architecture gained within the public sector over a 30+ year career.
Laurie is a strong advocate of user-centred design and Agile collaborative delivery with multi-function teams and, holds a degree in Business and Information Management from Napier University.
