Marlene Harkis is currently a service delivery consultant working with Digital Health and Care innovation Centre. She has worked in social care as senior manager in Glasgow and Ayrshire with a focus on adult service and transforming older peoples services. This included Occupational therapy services, homecare and residential Care, she chaired the Older People ADSW group . In 2013 she moved to Scottish centre for Telehealth Telecare to programme manage a major EU Project, Scotland was one of 9 EU countries involved. Marlene is a strong advocate of choice and empowerment for vulnerable citizens and is currently the chairperson of East Renfrewshire’s Self-directed support Forum.
