Nadin Kokciyan

Nadin is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence in the School of Informatics at University of Edinburgh; and a Senior Research Affiliate at the Centre for Technomoral Futures, Edinburgh Futures Institute. Her research interests include human-centered AI, Privacy, Argument Mining, Responsible AI and AI Ethics. She received her PhD from Bogazici University in 2017, and held a postdoc position at King’s College London prior to joining University of Edinburgh. Nadin regularly serves on the program committees for leading AI conferences such as AAMAS, IJCAI, AAAI and ECAI. In 2021, she was also a guest editor for Sociotechnical Perspectives of AI Ethics and Accountability in IEEE Internet Computing.
