Neal is a policy adviser in the Scottish Government’s Directorate for Energy and Climate Change, and heads a unit responsible for strategy and policy relating to heating Scotland’s homes and buildings. This includes overseeing current consultations on proposals for a Bill and standards which would require a shift to clean heating systems and improved energy efficiency across Scotland’s housing stock.
