Nuala Kilmartin is Innovation Lead for Digital Security Technologies at Innovate UK, UKRI. Within the Security and Resilient Growth Directorate, she drives market development for frontier technologies including Cyber, Semiconductors, Robotics and Advanced Telecoms, building strategic partnerships across government, industry, and academia to strengthen the UK’s security and resilience.
With over 25 years’ experience in innovation consultancy, programme management, and strategic communications, Nuala has led the growth for major government initiatives in cyber security and presently leads on foundational technology skills programmes and the UK Government’s CyberASAP Programme, which translates academic research into commercial cyber security solutions. Her leadership in stakeholder engagement and ecosystem development is supported by certifications in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Strategy, and Digital Disruption.
