Stephen Strachan, as Head of Consultancy/Principal Consultant, leads on the creation and delivery of the Consultancy team’s services. Stephen has over 15 years’ experience as project director and technical consultant, from design, delivery and commissioning of renewable generation, heat networks and low carbon heating projects to leading on decarbonisation strategies. Since 2017, Stephen has led on Changeworks’ development and delivery of Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) support for 25 local authorities, from the initial phases of Scottish Government pilot projects to creation of the final strategies. More recently, Stephen created the Net-Zero Pathways service, supporting Registered Social Landlords to define their stock improvement strategy to align with net zero targets.
