Zahid is Director of Operational Services and Transformation at Scottish Forestry where he champions change and oversees its improvement and delivery programme, digital and data services, skills development and new ways of working.
He has 25 years of broad ranging experience across the public, private and third sectors working previously in the financial sector, Scottish Government, Ofcom, the Health and Social Care ALLIANCE and NHS National Services Scotland. He has led on policy, innovation projects, co-design and user centred design approaches and in 2020/21 was a programme manager for the national service delivery of Covid Vaccination.
