Alex is Head of Government Cyber Implementation in DSIT’s Government Cyber Unit. Alex has worked in and around government cyber security for over a decade, including as Head of Cyber Risk in the UK Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England’s Joint Cyber Unit and in PwC UK where he focused on cyber security of government and critical national infrastructure clients. Over the last year, Alex has primarily led the development of the recently published Government Cyber Action Plan, which involved significant input from and collaboration with Scottish Government’s cyber team, and sets out how UK and devolved governments can continue to collaborate effectively on cyber security.
