Scotland’s facing the highest number of drug deaths since records began in 1996 – with a staggering 27% increase in 2018. With statistics showing Scotland to be the “drug death capital of the world”, calls for the decriminalisation and/or devolution of drug laws have intensified. However, we need to act – this event looked at what we can do now to minimise drug deaths.
