Following the publication of the Scottish Government and Skills Development Scotland’s Climate Emergency Skills Action Plan, it is clear that if Scotland’s transition to a net-zero future is to be a just transition, then a green skills acquisition drive is essential. Indeed, if Scotland is to achieve it’s targets, then there needs to be a colossal green skills drive to facilitate that.
This event will discuss the short and long-term measures that need to be taken now and in the future for Scotland to achieve it’s objectives of a fair and equitable transition, focusing on the industries, regions and individuals who need the most support in this endeavour.
Holyrood COP26 Fringe Festival
Holyrood’s COP26 Fringe events will take place over 4 days (Wed 3rd – Sat 6th November) in the centre of Glasgow, with each day exploring a different theme.
