Nationwide is the world's largest building society, with over 16 million customers, including 1.1 million customers in Scotland. Following its acquisition of Virgin Money, Nationwide is connected with one in three people in Scotland, serving one in five Scottish current accounts and one in five Scottish businesses. Nationwide employs around 5,000 people in Scotland and operates the country’s largest branch network, with all 80 Nationwide and Virgin Money branches protected until at least 2030. As a financial services provider owned by its members, not shareholders, Nationwide's purpose is: Banking - but fairer, more rewarding, and for the good of society.

In an increasingly uncertain world and rapidly evolving international order, Scotland is playing a growing role on the global stage. Join Holyrood and Babcock, Scotland’s largest engineering employer, for a timely discussion on how Scotland’s industrial base can strengthen the nation’s international standing through its relationships with the EU, NATO, Ukraine and like-minded partners around the world. As geopolitical tensions reshape security, industrial policy and global alliances, what role can Scotland’s world-leading defence, maritime and advanced manufacturing sectors play in driving economic growth, enhancing resilience, accelerating innovation and reinforcing Scotland’s reputation as a trusted international partner?

Holyrood’s Health Hub is returning to SNP Party Conference. Join the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Arthritis UK Scotland for a discussion on long term conditions and community rehabilitation. Using insights from lived patient experience, we will explore whether the approach Scotland is taking is supporting those with long-term conditions to live healthier and more dignified lives from diagnosis, during and following treatment.

With outcomes often determined by postcode, the Health Hub will also discuss how the Scottish Government, communities, and the third sector can work collaboratively to deliver consistent high-quality care across the whole country.

Join Holyrood and OEUK to discuss how policymakers can support an energy transition that protects existing and creates new skilled jobs, delivers sustainable economic growth, whilst growing Scotland’s industrial capacity and energy security.

The North Sea is one of Scotland’s greatest assets, holding the potential to power not only our homes and industries, but a new era of industrial growth and economic resilience. Whether this is realised depends on the decisions we make now. How can Scotland maximise the value of its natural resources, support communities and supply chains, attract investment and ensure the benefits are felt across the country?

Our goal is to be Scotland’s go to delivery provider. We are on a mission to improve reliability across Scotland. We are undertaking a massive transformation, changing how we deliver the Universal Service to 2.9 million addresses across Scotland via our network of c.245 delivery offices. We also want to see a level playing field across the delivery sector so that it is not just Royal Mail that pays employees a decent wage with pension, holiday and sickness benefits as standard. Join us for a drink to find out more.
