In early July, Holyrood magazine will hold its annual Westminster summer drinks reception for Scottish MPs within the House of Commons, co-hosted by Stewart Hosie MP and Mandy Rhodes, editor of Holyrood.
The occasion, which falls just before summer recess, is well attended by elected members of all colours and will provide an opportunity to reflect on an eventful and surprising twelve months in politics.
We are all used to politics being a fast-moving and ever-changing landscape, but this year has witnessed seismic change – with three different occupants of No. 10, a new SNP leader at Westminster, and (after almost nine years at the helm of Holyrood) Nicola Sturgeon vacating Bute House, making way for the new first minister, Humza Yousaf. There will certainly be a lot to talk about over canapes and wine!
The event is held in conjunction with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and will include a few words from head of public affairs, Jim Fox.
