Ade is currently the Head of Information Technology at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, the owners of Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park. He leads a team of five and is responsible for strategically developing, implementing and maintaining the charity’s IT estate, covering areas such as applications, infrastructure and communications architecture, service delivery and information/data security. He joined RZSS in February 2017 and prior to this he worked for Children First as their IT Manager for 14 years. Having worked in charity IT for over 22 years, he has extensive knowledge of the Scottish charity IT sector, and the challenges of delivering IT service within constrained budgets and resources. In a previous life he was a marine biologist, working on engineering and environmental consultancy projects for major industrial and government clients throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
