Adrian Bond

Adrian works as Zero Waste Scotland’s Recycling Manager, providing guidance and support to local authorities and the resource management sector in Scotland, to promote the Scottish Government’s zero waste and circular economy ambitions. He has a key role in implementing Scotland’s Household Recycling Charter, a voluntary agreement aiming to make recycling in Scotland less fragmented and easier for residents.

Prior to joining ZWS, Adrian worked for SEPA, latterly as head of waste policy, during which time he was responsible for the implementation of the Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012 which brought in the current requirement for segregated recycling collections.
