She spearheads strategic collaborations with SMEs and key stakeholders, including the NHS, the National Robotarium and the West of Scotland Safe Haven, to co-deliver industry-aligned education within the University. Alisha had previously led the curriculum design for the MSc in Clinical Trials in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and IQVIA.
Her academic practice focuses on the intersection of healthcare education and emerging technologies, particularly the practical and ethical integration of Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance both student learning and healthcare research outcomes. She also designs and advocates for inherently accessible Higher Education initiatives that maintain a rigorous employability focus.
