Alistair is a tech entrepreneur and investor who has founded, scaled, and exited a number of businesses, primarily in the B2B software sector. He has extensive international experience and has led organisations delivering SaaS solutions to thousands of companies around the world. Alistair is an active angel investor and held the role of Investment Director with responsibility for the Software and Internet sector at Mercia Technologies PLC. In Spring 2020 he was a founder of the Scottish Tech Army, established as a volunteer-based COVID-response initiative to deliver digital solutions to organisations on the front line of dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alistair is now the CEO of the Scottish Tech Army, which evolved to deliver its mission of mobilising the UK’s tech talent for good on an enduring basis. In 2022, it launched the Tech for Good Alliance to work with companies in the tech and tech-related sectors to establish and develop tech for good programmes within their organisations.
