
Annie Barber is the Communications Officer for the Campaign for Freedom of Information in Scotland. She is a human rights researcher and journalist, specialising in freedom of expression and information. She recently completed a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Rights at the University of Aberdeen and is an associate member of the University’s Anti-SLAPP Research Hub. She has volunteered within the human rights sector for a number of years, working on US death penalty and juvenile cases, and as a service provider for people facing homelessness.
