
Brian Roy is an experienced political strategist and campaigner with over two decades working at the heart of UK and Scottish politics.
A former General Secretary of the Scottish Labour Party (2014–2019), Brian led the strategic planning and delivery of multiple national and local election campaigns, working with four UK Labour Leaders and seven Scottish Labour Leaders. His tenure is widely recognised for modernising Labour’s campaigning strategy, strengthening digital capability, and building data-driven approaches to voter engagement.
Brian is a Senior Associate with Stratcom UK, supporting unions, political organisations, and progressive campaigns with polling, research, and engagement strategies that help them win support and shape public debate.
As Founding Director of Craigview Strategies, he advises clients across the political, charitable, and public sectors on campaigns, communications, and political engagement — helping organisations influence agendas and translate ideas into real-world change.
Brian also serves as Senior Political Adviser to Mark Griffin MSP, leading on housing and local government policy and supporting parliamentary, stakeholder, and community engagement.
