Craig is an experienced criminal investigator with Police Scotland having worked in complex Economic Crime and Cybercrime investigations for over 13 years. Craig has worked across the UK and Internationally with many international partners including Europol and Interpol and in 2024 was deployed to work with the FBI for a month as part of their International Task Force under the National Cyber and Digital Forensics Training Alliance. Craig is keen and passionate about the use of technology in Policing and has recently taken up a post in the Chief Data Office to support Police Scotland in its use of Data Science, AI and Automation. Craig forms part of the Data Ethics Oversight Group within Police Scotland which is used to review the implementation of new technology.
