Chris has been a senior leader at the highest institutional levels – serving for over a decade as CEO for the Royal Mail and National Grid pension plans – defining what “duty of care” looks like and protecting financial futures.
Chris is now focused on the socially critical mission to protect populations from digital fraud, at a time when Generative AI floods the world with deep fakes, social engineering, and sophisticated cyber attacks and scams. Chris is the Chief Public Affairs Officer for Blankstate.ai, a pioneering UK tech organisation capable of detecting predatory patterns. Blankstate’s innovation is focused heavily on governance and social attributes including transparency, data privacy and low energy usage.
Chris is a Chartered Actuary and a Trustee Director of the SEI Master Trust, with responsibility for running the £4bn money purchase pension scheme in the best interests of its members.
