Chris is Director of Digital and CIO for Scottish Water. He has over 30 years experience in the water sector and has held senior positions in Customer Operations, Finance and Capital Investment over the last 22 years. He is presently accountable for leading the digital transformation of Scottish Water and has a passion for introducing technology and innovation that deliver better outcomes for our customers and our environment at lower cost. Chris is a Chartered Civil Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and holds an Engineering Masters degree from Birmingham University and an MBA from Edinburgh University. Chris won a UK utilities competition to attend the Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School and in 2024 and 2025 was named one of the UKs top 50 inspiring individuals leading the charge towards decarbonisation. He is also a Duke of Edinburgh expedition leader.
