
Claire Currie is a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging and Chair of the Scottish Council of the Society of Radiographers. With a strong foundation in radiography and post graduate education, Claire leads curriculum innovation at postgraduate level. Her recent work focuses on integrating emerging technologies into healthcare education, particularly through the creation of a pioneering module titled Artificial Intelligence for Radiographers.
She is currently undertaking a PhD focused on clinical decision support systems for radiology referral, exploring how digital tools can enhance decision-making and service efficiency in imaging pathways. Claire recently led the launch of the AI for Health and Social Care Practitioners module at Glasgow Caledonian University, designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and critical skills to engage with AI technologies in practice. Her leadership in programme development, digital innovation, and co-creation with students and stakeholders reflects a forward-thinking approach
