Clare Wharmby

Clare has dedicated over two decades to working alongside the public sector in Scotland, collaborating with numerous public entities and supporting organisations to create tools, training, and guidance focused on climate change and sustainability. Clare has been instrumental in developing and setting up the Scottish Climate Intelligence Service (SCIS).  This is an innovative programme that will support Scotland’s local authorities with their approach to the climate transition through effective, climate-informed decision making at all levels and on an area-wide scale. Clare works at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, in partnership with the Improvement Service to deliver SCIS and alongside the Sustainable Scotland Network to support comprehensive climate action throughout Scotland.
