Dan Blake

Dan is the Executive Director of Customer Experience within Berwickshire Housing Association. He brings over 15 years’ experience within the social housing sector and very much attributes his commitment to the sector being centred on the meaningful nature of the work we do. He has worked in senior leadership roles across Glasgow, West Lothian and Edinburgh within smaller community led housing associations to Wheatley Group (Scotland’s largest housing and care provider).

He currently leads our teams on the strategic delivery of Neighbourhood Services, Asset Management, Community Initiatives, Communications and wider Customer Engagement. Dan works closely alongside key partners and stakeholders to deliver upon our vision and strategic aims, not extensively these include; other Housing Providers, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Health and Third Sector Interfaces. He represents BHA at Strategic Steering and Planning groups such as Public Protection Committee, Health & Homelessness Strategic Partnership and the Borders Resilience Network amongst other key agendas.

He is Chair of the Scottish Advisory Board for Housemark and a Non-Executive Director on Housing Options Scotland Board. Dan is a proud housing professional and corporate member of Chartered Institute of Housing.
