
Declan Doyle is a Senior Information and Cyber Security officer at Social Security Scotland. He is responsible for ensuring that any product, service or solution used in facilitating and delivering social security payments to the people of Scotland are secure and resilient to cyber attacks.
Declan began his cyber security career as an Ethical Hacking graduate from Abertay University, working at the Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland. There he was responsible for delivering a wide range of cyber services and support whilst also managing a cohort of ethical hackers.
He focuses on promoting robust cyber security measures and fostering a positive cyber security culture across organisations.
Alongside his role, Declan’s commitment to the future of the field is demonstrated by his active mentoring of Scotland’s emerging cybersecurity professionals, underscoring his passion and dedication to fostering STEM skills and bolstering national digital resilience.
