Douglas Ross MSP

Douglas Ross is an MSP for the Highlands & Islands Region since May 2021.  He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Moray from 2017 to 2024.  He was a UK Government Minister in the Scotland Office from 2019 – 20220.  He served as Leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party from August 2020 to July 2024.  He previously served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Highlands & Islands Region from 2016 to 2017.  He was born and brought up in Moray and served as a councillor for ten years.
