Dr Allison Duggal

Allison started her career as a scientist in NHS laboratories and later attended university, joining the civil service after receiving her PhD in Medicine (clinical biochemistry).  After a few years working in health and safety, and infectious disease policy she joined the HPA as a senior epidemiology scientist at HPA Colindale.  Allison Joined the PH training scheme in London in 2005 and has worked across London and the Southeast.  After a spell as interim Director of Public Health (DPH) in Kent County, she joined Coventry City Council, the first Marmot City, as the DPH in March 2022.
