Dr Brian Plastow

Dr Brian Plastow is the Scottish Biometrics Commissioner. He was appointed by the late Queen on the nomination of the Scottish Parliament in April 2021. His role is to support and promote the adoption of lawful, effective, and ethical practices in relation to biometric data used for policing and criminal justice purposes in Scotland.
