Dr Julio Bros-Williamson is a Lecturer and Chancellor’s Fellow in Net-Zero Buildings at the Institute of Infrastructure and Environment (IIE) part of the School of Engineering (SoE). His research focuses on low- carbon performance and the evaluation of new and existing buildings. He uses techniques to measure building envelope performance and post-occupancy evaluation of building users. Julio has experience in the deployment of indoor air quality sensors, and the use of digital tools to create digital twins and living labs of buildings. He has close ties with industry leaders, policymakers and international academic leads all of which are part of his existing and future research.
