I am an NHS GP working in East Dunbartonshire HSCP. Throughout my 25 years career I have worked in various specialties across primary, secondary and mental health services including the drug and alcohol service, and been invoked in locality planning and strategic planning groups.. This breadth of experience has supported my journey as a GP in navigating the increasingly complex patient journey from cradle to grave. I am a strong advocate of holistic, evidence based, person centred care, delivered in an equitable and accessible way to best support the multi factorial wellbeing needs of my increasingly diverse patient population.
My determination to find a solution to the challenges I face at work on a daily basis, resulted in taking the step to reach out to collaborate with like minded, highly experienced colleagues in Secondary Care and Mental Health. Together we forged a path forwards which led us to Raiys. A self confessed digital convert, the next step in my journey is to utilise the most advanced technology available to combine all those years of frontline expertise to enable delivery of the care each individual patient needs, exactly when they need it.
