Dr Lila Skountridaki

Lila is a Lecturer in Organisation Studies at the University of Edinburgh Business School and programme director of the MSc Human Resource Management. Her teaching focuses on Business Ethics and her research interests include the sociology of work, the professions, and professional ethics. Lila has a particular interest in experts working in large organisations and, most recently, has been working on research projects exploring hybrid and remote work, notably including a UK wide grant-funded project, titled ‘Where does work belong anymore? The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on working in the UK’, a large study for the University of Edinburgh, as well as in partnership with business organisations trialling new forms of flexible work. Lila currently serves as the academic chair of the Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability Committee of the University of Edinburgh Business School. She obtained her PhD from the Department of Management, Strathclyde University Business School in 2014.
