With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Stuart is renowned for his expertise in market access and pricing. Currently serving as the Head of the Devolved Nations team at MSD UK, he leads a healthcare team dedicated to collaborating with the NHS and Public Health provider across the Devolved Nations. Their joint efforts aim to support the implementation and delivery of healthcare initiatives, targets and policies, such as vaccine coverage rates and cancer waiting times.
Stuart has contributed to several groundbreaking projects, including notably the negotiation (and subsequent implementation) of the NHS England Hepatitis C Elimination Program. This initiative aimed to accelerate the elimination of Hepatitis C as a public health concern in England, and is currently in its fifth year of delivery.
Stuart holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Glasgow University, which he completed in 1999.
