Ed has spent fifteen years at the intersection of government and technology – in the UK Parliament, Number 10, and the Cabinet Office, where as Chief of Staff he oversaw frontier AI risk and the transformation of frontline public services. He helped establish the Incubator for Artificial Intelligence at the heart of government and drove AI adoption as part of the National Science and Technology Framework. He is now Director of Public Policy at ServiceNow, a Senior Fellow at Policy Exchange, and a Visiting Fellow at the Tony Blair Institute. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
