Erin is the senior communications and public affairs manager at BMA Scotland. She has been with the British Medical Association for 14 years and before that was deputy director of the press and research unit for the Scottish Conservative group in the Scottish Parliament.
Erin developed and led the work on BMA Scotland’s 2021 Scottish Parliament manifesto. She is leading the work again for the 2026 manifesto and its political engagement. Erin has advised on and implemented successful communications for a number of campaigns for BMA Scotland including: period products for NHS staff, doctor pay negotiations and a National Conversation for the NHS; and is leading BMA Scotland’s response to assisted dying.
