Esther joined Hanover in August 2025 as a highly experience leader in both housing, support and social care. She has worked across a number of local authorities and housing associations in senior roles for over 2 decades. She is responsible for the leadership of all of Hanover’s customer facing services including housing, care, support and telecare. Esther is passionate about delivering high quality services to ensure that older people in Scotland receive a range of interconnected services that support them to live well at home, stay independent and highly connected in their communities.
She also leads a number of innovative digital transformation projects to test and adopt tools and ways of working that further support individual control but also to support improved service quality. Much of these tests of change include working closely with Health & Social Care partners to embrace predictive and preventative models of support.
Esther is a skilled at service redesign and business growth. She has lead the economic development function with a local authority and is a natural strategist having led a number of local authority strategic housing functions. Esther is a highly regarded professional and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, an organisation that she chaired for a number of years.
