Hamish oversees comms, PR and lobbying for the Scottish farmed sector, working through the trade body (Salmon Scotland) with government, the media and other stakeholders. Before joining Salmon Scotland, Hamish was a political journalist. He was the Scottish political editor for a number of daily newspapers including The Scotsman and The Times before leaving the media and moving into corporate comms and public affairs in 2018.
