Jack works across Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City Local Authorities as the Digital Stakeholder Lead Officer, striving to improve digital connectivity across the region. As part of the Aberdeen City Region Deal, Jack leads the Digital Engagement Team, actively supporting residents, businesses and communities in all matters relating to digital connectivity, offering frontline support and guidance wherever possible. Additionally, the Digital Engagement Team work closely with telecoms operators of all sizes, who can deploy connectivity solutions in the region, working to stimulate further infrastructure improvements through a variety of approaches. Working in collaboration with various stakeholders and Government colleagues, Jack is actively engaged in the promotion and stimulation of National connectivity programmes, such as Reaching 100% and Project Gigabit, striving to see the most impact in the North East of Scotland.
