Dame Jackie Baillie MSP

Jackie Baillie was elected to the Scottish Parliament to represent Dumbarton constituency in 1999. She is the only Scottish Labour MSP to have won her seat continuously in every election. When Scottish Labour was in government, Jackie served as the Deputy Minister for Communities and the Minister for Social Justice, developing ground breaking legislation on homelessness. She has previously served as Scottish Labour Economy Spokesperson and Scottish Labour’s Finance Spokesperson. She is currently the Shadow Cabinet Secretary for NHS Recovery, Health and Social Care and Drugs Policy. Jackie was elected as Deputy Leader of Scottish Labour in April 2020.
