James joined Renfrewshire Council in July 2023 as their Digital Strategy Delivery Manager and is part of their Enterprise and Architecture Team within the ICT & Digital department.
James has worked in local government for over two decades in various roles, most recently leading on an ambitious Digital Transformation programme, which included creating a strategic and innovative approach to digital inclusion. This work has featured in multiple national digital inclusion roadmaps and achieved national recognition.
In his current role, James is responsible for overseeing Renfrewshire Council’s Digital Strategy and also leads on Digital Inclusion. He understands the benefits and the vital role a secure and resilient infrastructure plays in our everyday lives and how this is core to helping people, communities and businesses remain connected and delivering on our wider outcomes.
